Government Hajj Scheme

These government Hajj schemes are divided into two regions: 1) South and 2) North. The estimated cost of the government Hajj regular scheme in the South region is PKR 1.15 million to 1.25 million, excluding qurbani expenses of PKR 55,000. Cities in the South Region include Karachi, Quetta, and Sukkur. The cost of the North region will be PKR 1.25 million, excluding qurbani expenses of PKR 55,000. Cities in the North Region include Lahore and Islamabad. The payment will be paid in a three-instalment plan.

But in Pakistan, there are some other important considerations related to Hajj: physical fitness and medical wellness, typically for 80-year-olds or older, and Saudi Arabia requires a medical fitness certificate to participate in Hajj.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the flights for Hajj 2027 will start around April 2027. These flights will operate out of eight airports across Pakistan: Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Sialkot, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Hajj 2027 will occur from May 14 to May 19, 2027 (8 to 13 Dhul Hijjah 1448 AH). Hajj itself is a specific set of rituals that take place over 5 days: 8th Dhul Hijjah — Hajj Begins, 9th — Day of Arafah, 10th — Eid-ul-Adha, 11th — Shaving The Head, 12th — Hajj Ends.
